Zeinab Pouransari is a faculty member at the mechanical engineering department at K.N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. She obtained her BSc degree in mechanical engineering from University of Tehran in 2005. She received a Master of Science diploma in mechanical engineering with focus on turbulent flows from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, 2007. She continued her graduate studies on turbulent combustion and in 2015 she defended her PhD thesis in the field of turbulent flames at the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, in Stockholm, Sweden. She also has two years of work experience as a researcher on the field of chaotic mixing at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.
